question, did Ms. Barr stay with or intervies a Mary Miller on Cumberland Island for her Endangered Species? I had the privalidge a few years before her passing to spend time with her on the Island and she mentioned that “some lady” interviewed her for a book”, not sure if that would have been Ms. Barr. Loved the book, wish it could be made into a movie, but to much controversy with …..Did get to be a park service ranger for 4 months, back a few years. They were hiring temps over the summer months. Best of luck with the new book, can’t wait to read it.
Yes, Nevada did spend some time on Cumberland Island to research that book and I’m sure she spoke to many of the people there, but it’s hard to know if she spoke to this particular person.
